ANTIQUE EPHEMERA - FIELDS, WHITMAN, BUDD, MOFFATT, ADAMS, DAYMUDE, EBRIGHT, PHENEGAR

The following invitation was extended to Miss Lizzie PHENEGER of Van Horne Iowa. The envelope was postmarked February 8, 1894. She was invited to attend a Valentine party on February 14, 1894 at the home of William Stansbury ADAMS, though he likely had little to do with the planning. His two daughters and their friends are listed as the committee members: Mary ADAMS, Lulu EBRIGHT, Bertha DAYMUDE, and Sadie ADAMS.

Next up is an announcement of the wedding of the above mentioned Lulu Ebright. Her full name was Luella May EBRIGHT. I've included a scan of the envelope the announcement was in because I thought it was an interesting little piece of business history. The tiny embossing reads: The Educational Supply Company Painesville, Ohio. I haven't been able to easily find out anything about this company just yet.

Frank V. SHATTUCK and Luella May EBRIGHT were married Thursday, June 17, 1897 at Columbus, Ohio. They made their home at 153 W. Eighth Avenue in Columbus. Tragically, Frank died just 17 months after his marriage, at the age of 26. Frank's obituary reads as follows: "Death has claimed another bright and promising young man. Just as the sun was giving promise of a beautiful day the spirit of Frank V. Shattuck returned to its Maker. He was the son of the late William and Mrs. Mary Shattuck and was born on the Shattuck farm near Columbus. His later life had been spent in the city, where he was a valued employee of the Columbus Seed store. In June of 1897 he was married to Miss Lulu Ebright, to whom his death is a severe blow. Of an energetic and kindly nature he drew around him many friends to whom his death will come as a deep sorrow. Besides his wife, he leaves his mother and three sisters." - Columbus Dispatch, 12 Nov. 1898, Sat. Page 6

Lastly is this little graduation announcement booklet for Big Piney High School in Sublette County Wyoming. This particular announcement was for friends and family of Charlotte M. FIELDS specifically as it contained her graduation name card.
