50th High School Class Reunion Photo, Minneapolis High School, Minneapolis Kansas
9/02/2021 06:00:00 AMThis is a photo of the 50th reunion of the Minneapolis High School class of 1935. The reunion was held in Kansas sometime in 1985 and 21 of the 35 graduates were present. Mildred George Smith is fifth from left in the row standing. Unfortunately no one else in the photo is identified but you can see the original class roll HERE. If you recognize one of these individuals as someone on that roll I would love to identify them in this post. Thanks!
This collection of photos from the 1941 Medicine Lodge Indian Peace Treaty Re-enactment belonged to my husband's grandmother who attended the event back in 1941. I've included all captions written on the back of each photo. This event is still commemorated today and you can learn more about it on the Medicine Lodge Indian Peace Treaty website.

My husbands grandma, Mildred GEORGE, attended Fort Hays Kansas State College and graduated in June of 1940. She took several photographs of the campus which I share below. It's always interesting to me to see how things change over time. First off, the graduates:
